I am a Dallas based street, assignment and freelance photographer. Since getting my first used camera a few years ago, photography has grown from occasional hobby to creative obsession. Photography became a way to understand and express my curiosity in the world around me. Everywhere I went, my camera came along.
Living in Los Angeles for four years I took to exploring its neighborhoods and diverse communities. I started to get more comfortable photographing people I didn't know. Over time this comfort allowed me to stop chasing a certain photo, but instead followed my curiosities and opened my eyes to look for those fleeting moments in between to tell a truer story. Drawn in by the energy of the street, I was hooked on the process of taking photos.
Through street photography I learned the importance of timing and anticipation when capturing the candid second that only happens once. Regardless the subject or setting, whether on the street or on assignment, my photography packs a unique blend of emotion, circumstance and creativity into a single timeless shot.
